If you take a bundle of energy, mix it with a little attitude, throw in some courage and cuteness, stir until completely white, what will you have? Well, that's easy: our dog Sasha.

Sasha is our little motivator. She gets us up and moving in the morning and keeps us going throughout the day. If we get to rest for a few minutes in the afternoon, she's right there to make sure we don't sit too long. She'll do all she can to get us off our duffs. She may bring us a toy so she can play or she may act as if she needs to go outside, only to go out and immediately come right back in. She has even started barking at the door when no one is there, just so we get up and check.

Because of her persistence she can, at times, be a bit annoying. Fortunately we did give her obedience training. I'd hate to see what life would be like if we hadn't! She's obedient but not without some persistence from us. And she will sulk a little if she's not in the mood to listen. She definitely has a mind of her own and once she has an intention, all other things must wait. But she makes up for all her little quirks with a great personality and a fun-loving attitude.

It's her "put it in high gear-don't have time to waste"perspective on life that keeps her in the forefront of whatever plans we've made. No matter what we plan to do, Sasha will play a role in it, somehow. She'll make sure of that.
