Parlez-Vous Francais, darling? If you don't speak French, don't worry: I can understand just about any language. But take a good look at me because there are only a few of my breed in the entire world! Yes darling, I'm a rare breed. I'm also cousin to President Obama's dog, Bo, although I haven't visited the White House yet. I'm sure my invitation is just lost in the mail or I'd have been there by now!
You must understand that I like to be groomed regularly. Neither you nor I will like what happens if I am not! Let's just say that it's not a pretty sight and the tangles can require scissors. But take heart; I shed very little. For people who suffer from allergies to dog fur, my coat is considered hypoallergenic, but do check with your doctor and breeder. And, my coat can be trained into cords as I mature. C'est magnifique, no?
When it comes to obedience training, I'm a quick study. Most humans cherish me for my versatility and joyful, intelligent personality, which is probably why I gained the admiration of King Henry IV of France--one royal fan, so to speak.
Getting along with other pets? Easy - I could even live in a house full of cats! I love children as well, but I have to warn you: be ready to play. I'm all about fun and lots of woolly cuddles. In fact, that's my name, Cuddles. In spite of such a cute name I do like to work. My breed has been used for many years as a retriever of water fowl and I love the water as much as I love retrieving. That fact is for those of you who are thinking that I'm all fluff!
