This is Fluff when I first got her from the breeder. You probably wouldn't think that I'd be the sort to own this little dog. I'm over six feet and weigh nearly 250 pounds, but I'm a confirmed lover of this special breed.
Compatibility couldn't have been better. I know one thing; I was taken by how sensitive she was when the breeder first introduced her to me. And of how she actually preferred me holding her over anyone else doing it. My wife was a little jealous - this was supposed to be her dog. Fluff was so fluffy as a pup that when she would snuggle beneath my chin, her soft coat would tickle me.
She's also easy to take along when we travel and even when we just go out shopping or on errands around town. Now, I've had to take some teasing from the guys. But when they discovered that this breed actually prefers the company of men over the ladies they can get silly with her because it is the humane thing to do, as if they need an excuse. They really do love this dog.
Fluff is very obedient and easily trained so in spite of how she feels towards us at any particular moment; she'll acquiesce and follow any given command the moment we state it. She doesn't hold grudges and is just glad to be with us, and she tolerates occasionally being left alone, although she'll pout when we return. Overall, I can't imagine a better family dog that the Bolognese.
